Website Security here at Ron and Joe

We, Ron and Joe, have secured the sensitive information areas of our website through use of a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security certificate provided by those thoughtful folks at Thawte. This is a digital document containing unique codes that identify us as the holders of the certificate. Which means that you absolutely are dealing with us, Ron and Joe. We can only imagine how thrilled you must be. But the best part is that this digital certificate also encrypts all transmissions to and from the secure areas of our website, thus ensuring that communication between us remains private. Woof.

Want to read our privacy policy?

What do we mean by "secure areas"? Well, most web pages are not secure. Which is true of most of the pages in our site. Only the pages where we pass personal information (such as name, address, phone and credit card numbers) back and forth are secure. You can tell when a web page is secure by the "s" following "http". For instance, this page is not:

http://www.ronandjoe.com/security.html

But start the checkout process and BAM! you're in a secure area:

https://www.ronandjoe.com/...

You can also tell by the little lock symbol in the bottom menu bar of most browsers. Which, by the way, our certificate supports all of the recent versions from Microsoft, Netscape and AOL.

But if you're still a little nervous about sending your credit card info over the internet, don't sweat it. Just give us, Ron and Joe, a call at 714.834.9166, between 8am and 5pm PST, Monday to Friday.
